I knew this was was going to be a big deal, but as the reception for the Valyn Calhoun Retrospective nears, the reception is taking on a life of it's own.

The Valyn Calhoun Retrospective with Rita Baum is already the talk of the town.
While Valyn a seasoned artist with a litany of exhibitions under his belt, this will be the time Rita Baum shows her photographs in a gallery. The exhibition will even feature an essy by Associate Professor of Visual Arts, Jacques de Beafort of Palm Beach State College.

The exhibition which runs from August 22nd through September 27 is having an all out reception for the artists aptly titled "VIP Grand Recption," as it is no ordinary wine a cheese get together.

Frankie Dogs! Veggie Dogs!

Bands, including Dooms de Pop, DJ sets by Beat Theif, a fire dance presentation by the Philosifires, and even Christopher Lee's Frankie Dogs foodcart will be on site to provide healthy veggie dogs.

The exhibition, which has already cause quite a stir with it promotional material, the Rita Baum portrait of Valyn Calhoun, may very well be the Best Exhibition in Palm Beach this year!

The VIP Grand Reception is going to held at the Boynton Beach Art District, 422 West Industrial Ave., Boynton Beach, FL 33426.
